This Privacy Policy applies to the Lovin app ("the App"), owned and operated by Ersah ATMACA. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

a. Account & Pairing

We may use Firebase Authentication (if enabled) and identifiers to manage your account. If you choose to pair with a partner, we store pairing metadata that links two accounts. You can unlink pairing at any time.

b. Answers & Reactions

Your answers to questions, optional notes, reactions, and streak data are stored in Firebase Realtime Database to sync across your devices and, if paired, with your partner.

c. Optional AI Cards

If you create shareable cards or images, your prompts and assets are sent to Google Gemini API for processing. We do not sell this data.

d. Diagnostics

Basic usage and performance data may be collected to improve reliability and fix issues.

2. How We Use Information

We use your data to provide the couples-questions experience, maintain pairing and progress, generate optional AI cards upon request, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide support.

3. Where Processing Happens

Firebase (Google) is used for Functions and Realtime Database and may store your data on Google Cloud servers in multiple regions. Google Gemini API processes inputs you submit for generation. Please refer to their respective privacy policies.

4. Your Choices

You can unlink pairing, delete generated media, and request account & data deletion from in-app settings or by contacting us.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to run the App (Firebase and Gemini) under their terms.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit and least-privilege access to Firebase resources. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

7. Children

The App is intended for users 16+ (or as required by your local law). If you believe a minor used the App and shared data, contact us for removal.

8. International Transfers

By using the App, you understand data may be processed and stored outside your country, subject to provider safeguards and applicable laws.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
